Perranzabuloe Parish Council Neighbourhood Priorities Statement Consultation – Share Your Views

Cornwall Council is encouraging all Town and Parish Councils, including those with Neighbourhood Development Plans (NDP) in place, to produce a Neighbourhood Priorities Statement (NPS) which will influence policy direction under the new Cornwall Local Plan.

Perranzabuloe Parish Council has committed to producing a Neighbourhood Priorities Statement (NPS) for the parish. This is a document produced by a local council, working with its community, to set out local priorities for growth, change and investment in their area over the longer term.

They do not replace Neighbourhood Development Plans (NDP) or mean that NDP policies will no longer be used. Neighbourhood Priorities Statements are shorter and simpler to produce and do not contain policies and allocations. They require public consultation and are a way for communities to set out their priorities for long term growth and development and to identify community priorities in relation to CIL and other infrastructure spending.

We need your help. This is a chance for the local community to influence policy and set out a positive vision for the area.

It is really important that residents of the Parish of Perranzabuloe take the time to complete the online Local Plan/NPS survey by 9 September by scanning the QR code or visiting:
