It is with great sadness that we announce that Parish Councillor, Mike Crewes passed away last week from illness. He had served on Perranzabuloe Parish Council since 2013 and felt passionately about supporting this community. He was actively involved in working on many of the Council’s larger projects and was the driving force behind helping to put in place a strong team of staff so that the Council had the expertise to implement both day-to-day work and the projects more effectively.
Mike’s funeral will be on Thursday 19th September at 12 noon in the Trelawney Chapel, Truro Crematorium. All classic cars and bikes welcome. The procession will meet at Hawkins Arms, Zelah at 11am. Dress is colourful and casual (no black, no ties). No flowers but donations care of Tregunna Funeral Directors, Truro (01872 273568) in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care and Waves Counselling Project. There will be a celebration of Mike to follow on at The Driftwood Spars in St. Agnes.
