Perranzabuloe Museum in Perranporth, in association with the University of Exeter and Perranzabuloe Parish Council, will be holding their award-winning Heritage on the Beach event on the Inner Green and by Chapel Rock on the beach at Perranporth.

On the beach there will be pop-up talks throughout the day about the mining heritage at Droskyn cliffs, geology in 15 minutes, Boom or Bust: seine fishing, Winston Graham at Perranporth, beach plastic and more …

On the Inner Green there will be a special beach-themed family art activity with professional artist, Felicity Tattersall.

In Perranzabuloe Museum there are displays about Storms & Ocean Plastic and Shifting Sands and Shipwrecks.

This event won the Audience Initiative Award in 2018 from the Cornwall Museums Partnership.

Perranzabuloe Museum, established in 1986, is entirely volunteer-led and is open from 10.30 to 16.30 Monday to Friday and 11.00 to 13.00 on Saturday from Easter to the end of October.
