So how are we all doing? It’s been a pretty weird and challenging week for most of us as all our familiar routines go out of the window. We hope you are coping alright and managing to stay cheerful.

The Parish Council is still operational and keeping up with day-to-day issues – so you can still contact us by phone and email which will reach us at our home offices, and we are happy to answer your queries as normal. Please bear in mind that some of our usual services such as fixing streetlights and grass cutting have had to be suspended for the duration. We are here to support our community at this difficult time so do let us know if you think we can help.

For those who are isolated and need someone to collect medicines or food, please contact the Isolation Support Group which is very well organised and has a bank of volunteers ready to spring into action. If you need support with other matters relating to health and wellbeing or mental health, our Community Navigator will be able to point you in the right direction. Please contact the Parish Council for details.

There’s no denying that these are unsettling and tough times, but we will get through it together by heeding the guidance from government and Public Health England. It’s fantastic to see everyone pulling together and great that residents are behaving so responsibly and staying at home as much as possible. Please carry on staying at home to protect the NHS and save lives.
