Perranporth Emergency Flood Plan – April 2026
The Emergency Flood Plan for Perranporth is owned by Perranzabuloe Parish Council.
The Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Ambulance, Maritime and
Coastguard Agency), supported by the Local Authorities and other public
and voluntary organisations are normally able to cope with most local
emergencies. However, the local community may be able to provide vital
information and even direct support if the official responders are delayed for
whatever reason. Local self-help actions may save lives and will help to
alleviate distress.
The parish council and volunteers will work with Cornwall Council and the
emergency services to ensure that the community has as effective a
response as possible.
The aim of the Emergency Flood Plan is to provide local information, advice
and a framework for local assistance in the event of a flood within Perranporth.
