Visitor to the rescue

Huge thanks to this chap who’s visiting Perranporth and happened to be on the top of Chapel Rock  when the flag pole snapped. It had rusted through and someone was holding onto it in the high winds when it toppled over. He managed to save it from crashing down on other visitors and took it over to the RNLI. We are now sourcing another flag pole and hope to have the Cornish flag flying proudly again in its rightful place on Chapel Rock very soon.
