His priorities are supporting the most vulnerable in the community, particularly disadvantaged children and young people, as well as protecting and restoring nature and reducing our environmental impact.

Sam has lived in the parish of Perranzabuloe his entire life and has been part of Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club for many years. This led to him working on Perranporth Beach as an RNLI lifeguard which has provided him with invaluable experience in communication and teamwork. Sam has also completed a degree in Electrical Engineering which has developed his leadership, problem solving and project management skills. One of Sam’s main aims on the parish council is to improve the rights of way in the parish, some of which are currently poorly maintained or blocked. Sam is also supporting works to complete the Saints Trail from Goonhavern to Newquay.
