Checking out the new motor!

Chris Luke was thrilled to be handed a brand new truck to help him with his new job as a proper employee of the Parish Council. There has been a long standing arrangement with Cornwall Council whereby they pay the Parish Council to organise much of the bin emptying in the parish but this has been contracted out to another company who employed Chris. Now the Parish Council has taken control and arranged to employ Chris directly. When all the costs including the new truck are spread over a couple of years, the new arrangements will actually be cheaper and we will continue to receive a great service from Chris who always goes the extra mile to keep our streets clean and tidy.
