Skatepark for Perranporth

Perranzabuloe Parish Council is excited to announce that Maverick will begin construction on the skatepark starting 9 September, with the project expected to be completed by the end of November/start of December (weather permitting). Pre-site preparations were finalised last month, including the installation of ball stop netting. The Parish Council acknowledges the public’s frustration over the delays, but councillors and staff have been diligently working to resolve various challenges. The Parish Council is enthusiastic about this next phase of development in Ponsmere Valley. Additionally, plans are underway for ancillary facilities such as toilets, seating, shelters, and other play equipment. Discussions regarding youth facilities in this area are also part of the Parish Council’s Strategic Plan for its property portfolio. Stay tuned for more updates!
