Cherilyn Mackrory, MP sends clear message of help and support for our community.

Dear Neighbours,

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

As the Member of Parliament for Truro and Falmouth, I want to reassure the local  community that I and Government take the threat of COVID-19 very seriously, both to the health and the economy of Cornwall, and our country.

Arguably this is the biggest challenge our country is facing since World War II. Therefore it is so important that we come together to support each other.

I have been in awe of how our community has pulled together so promptly and passionately in these difficult times. The offers of help have been overwhelming – there is no doubt that whatever happens our community is prepared and will be resilient.

I want to assure residents that I am here to help. While the local community comes together to help with doing people’s shopping and picking up people’s prescriptions, please remember that as your Member of Parliament I have the authority to act on your behalf with any other issues that these challenging times may bring. There is no doubt there will be further disruption; I am here to help with your housing, your benefits, issues with suppliers, the council or other organisations, but also here if you need any information or have any questions or queries. If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I will continue to help in any way that I can while the situation is on-going. I am now in the constituency, where I want to be, on the ground helping those of you who ask for it. While what happens in Westminster and Whitehall is important, my main priority and concern is looking after the people of Truro, Falmouth and the wider area.

If anyone needs anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact my office on 0207 219 3713, or by email at cherilyn.mackrory.mp@parliament.uk.

Take care, and stay safe.

Kind regards,
Cherilyn
